Job Description

As the Director of Community, you will be responsible for setting Bubble’s global community engagement strategy that fosters an inclusive and collaborative culture among our users. We are looking for an exceptional leader to ensure that our community is informed, educated, and inspired. In this role you will also own and lead Bubble's user conference, an annual event that brings together Bubble users, partners, and experts to network, learn, and share their experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a community engagement strategy that grows our global community, fosters engagement, collaboration, and support among Bubble users
  • Lead a team, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure the success of the community team
  • Create and maintain a welcoming and inclusive environment for all community members, ensuring that their feedback is heard and their needs are addressed
  • Develop and manage community initiatives such as meetups, forum, social media, and online events to facilitate collaboration and engagement among community members
  • Own and lead Bubble's users conference, including planning, budgeting, logistics, and content development
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including developers, partners, and customers, to ensure that Bubble is meeting the needs of the community
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Bubble's product and ecosystem to effectively communicate with and support the community
  • Own community growth targets and P&L
  • Evaluate campaign ROI and efficiency metrics to identify growth opportunities
  • Monitor and analyze community engagement metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in community engagement, preferably in the technology industry
  • Experience leading a team
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Experience in developing and executing community engagement strategies
  • Passion for building inclusive and collaborative communities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and develop data-driven solutions
  • Experience in event planning, particularly with large-scale conferences
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
