How has your work week been? If you're considering a change, Sunday nights can feel like a dread - and I get it!
Yet, I'd argue it's the best feeling you can have right now.
It's a wake-up call to ask yourself the right questions and move intentionally toward your next move. And that's great news.
We spend such a good chunk of our life working, we better spend it doing something we care about.
After feeling trapped in one job myself (in recruitment), I decided to build my own bridges. I learned new skills, worked on side-projects, made connections, and ended up in gaming, then web3. I did it again, and I'm now building my product!
I always had one framework in mind to guide my career moves. And it boils down to this:
Define my favorite problems (give myself a direction)
Build my source of truth (understand who are the players)
Start doing and make connections in the right space (become a player)
Leverage these connections to land a job, client or project (get noticed)
I talk more about it in this article about transitioning into web3, but you can apply it to any industry really!
What I love is, once you nailed your favorite problems, they can take many forms: find a full-time job, freelance, or even build your own thing.
We don't have time to waste (quit often!), and so much to explore until we find the right work match for us.
