Responsibilities
- Work on embedding latent representations of entities across the platform focusing on user behaviour in multi-touch fragmented journeys and cold start settings.
- Develop models using Knowledge Graph Embeddings, Auto-Encoders, Attention mechanisms to represent Users and Experiences in a shared latent space.
- Apply models across downstream tasks such as Search, Ranking, and Notifications.
- Design, code, experiment, and implement models and algorithms to enhance customer satisfaction, increase supplier value, optimize business outcomes, and ensure infrastructure efficiency.
- Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders for quality outcomes meeting internal objectives.
- Investigate and adopt innovative concepts with tangible benefits.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on data science experience.
- In-depth knowledge of AI/ML/DL, Statistics, and related open-source libraries.
- Awareness of current ML techniques with a focus on solving real-world data challenges.
- Strong skills in SQL and at least one programming language.
- Comfortable with code reviews, discussing architecture, and multidisciplinary collaboration for regular model deployments.
- Experience deploying online solutions and analysing real-time results through A/B testing.
- Passion for mentoring junior team members.
- Leadership qualities, autonomy, and team collaboration skills.
- Clear communication skills and ability to simplify complex ideas across business units.
Desired qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Operations Research, Statistics, or related quantitative disciplines.
- Knowledge in User Modelling, Representation Learning, Recommender Systems, and Large Language Models.
- Prior experience in e-commerce or Online Travel Agency sectors.
Location and Work Mode
- Role can be hybrid onsite or remote based in the UK or Poland.
- Occasional travel to company offices as needed.
