Scope of Work

• Design visually engaging slide decks, handouts, and “leave-behind” collateral for conferences.
• Create signage, banners, and environmental graphics for conference venues.
• Design email templates, graphics, and collaborate on event microsite design.

Essential skills & qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint with advanced presentation portfolio.
• Experience using AI tools for design efficiency and creativity.
• Strong ability to conceptualize and design technical diagrams, infographics, and data visualizations.
• Proven experience in high-tech companies with technical understanding.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other design tools.
• Experience creating motion graphics for digital campaigns and interactive experiences.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Strong project management and time management skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience designing for SaaS, energy, or IoT industries.
• Animation and video editing skills are a plus.

Engagement Terms

• This is an independent contractor engagement (1099).
• The contractor is responsible for their own tax withholdings, insurance, and equipment.
• Not an offer of employment and not eligible for employee benefits.
• Hourly pay range: $50 - $70 USD.
