Responsibilities
- Design campaign and brand assets end-to-end: Create best-in-class creative for digital ads, social graphics, landing page visuals, presentations, event collateral, and other brand touchpoints.
- Maintain brand consistency: Apply and uphold SOCiβs brand guidelines across assets to ensure a cohesive, bold, and polished brand presence.
- Partner cross-functionally: Collaborate closely with stakeholders across Marketing and Sales to translate briefs into clear, effective creative that supports demand gen, thought leadership, and product marketing goals.
- Create lightweight motion + GIF assets: Product simple animations (GIFs / short motion snippets) for social and campaign needs; collaborate with motion/video teammates on concepts, storyboards, specs, and handoffs when more advanced motion is required.
- Work effectively within motion workflows (team): Understand how motion work moves from concept to storyboard to versioning to review to export/specs, and contribute clean inputs that reduce rework.
- Operate with speed and organization: Manage multiple projects at once, prioritize effectively, hit deadlines, and deliver high-quality work with clear file/version hygiene.
- Use AI-assisted workflows to scale output: Apply AI design tools to accelerate ideation, generate variations, speed production, and improve efficiencyβwhile maintaining brand standards and quality control.
Requirements
- 2-6 years of professional design experience (or equivalent portfolio).
- Portfolio demonstrating strong work across digital and print, ideally in B2B SaaS, agentic, or a similarly fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong expertise in Figma for web/campaign design and collaborative workflows.
- (Advanced) Experience with Canva.
- Excellent fundamentals in typography, layout, composition, and systems thinking for scalable design.
- Strong communication and collaboration skillsβable to take feedback, iterate quickly, and land high-quality outputs.
- Project/time management skills to handle multiple deliverables in parallel.
- Willing to adapt to changes in the job description as deemed necessary by the business and accept all other duties as assigned.
Desired Skills
- Ability to create GIFs and lightweight motion assets for marketing campaigns (examples required in portfolio or exercise).
- After Effects knowledge (templates, simple text/shape animation, transitions) is a strong plus.
- Experience using AI design tools to improve speed and scale (e.g., generative fill, image expansion, background/object removal, rapid variation generation, layout exploration, web design)βwith clear judgment and brand governance.
Location and Work Environment
- This role is fully remote until the Vancouver, BC and Toronto, ON offices are established. Once the office is in place, it will transition to a hybrid model, with a 50/50 split between remote and in-office work.
