Job Description
The Graphic Design Intern contributes to ONCβs mission of providing nonpartisan news, opinions, and policy solutions by completing essential tasks in the media department and collaborating with various departments including Media, Business Development, Community and the Core Content Department. The Graphic Design Intern will have experience in platforms such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Paint 3D, Figma, Canva and/or Photopea. This intern is responsible for creating designs including, but not limited to advertisements, book covers, fliers, graphics for video projects, etc. This intern will work closely with the Director of Marketing and peers while also working independently.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with various departments to create creativeand informative content that engages members of our Community.
- Create advertisements, with headlines from the creative writing team, for potential sponsors of our organization.
- Create designs including, but not limited to book covers, infographics, logos, fliers, graphics for video projects, etc.
- Communicate with the CEO, COO, and Director of Marketing professionally about designs, necessary layouts and content, timelines and ideas.
Qualifications
Requirements: The Graphic Design Intern should have the following skills, education, and experience:
- Current or recent student working towards a degree in Graphic Designand/or related fields.
- Knowledge of basic editing software such as Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, etc. is required.
- Responsive, consistent,and effective communicator, even during conflict.
- Ability to work remotelyand on their own schedule in order to meet deadlinesβ
- Ability to attend Tuesday Media & Marketing team meetings (or inform a Team Lead if you canβt make a meeting)
- Must be authorized to intern in the U.S.
