Weโre looking for a leader to help define the future of content design for our products, set strategies, and develop a culture of excellent content in all areas where we interact with customers. ย As the Director of Content, you will lead and manage teams to ensure our products and features are valuable for people, businesses and communities, are easy to use, and of the highest level of craft and execution. Reporting to the Chief of Experience, you will be working cross-functionally with partners in product design, UX research, product management, engineering, and marketing, to define the strategy, operations, and communications that guide the team to build great products addressing real user needs. What Youโll Achieve
- Coach Content Design Managers to increase their impact, develop their strengths and grow their careers
- Become a trusted, strategic partner to product stakeholders by communicating and demonstrating the value of content design, and by delivering insights that lead to demonstrable business value
- Shape team strategy, identifying risks and prioritizing opportunities
- Identify gaps and solutions for future growth and scale within the team or org
- Build a diverse and inclusive environment across the team, model inclusive behaviors, and hold managers accountable
- Drive team execution, culture, and process across the content design team
- Have a point-of-view about strategic decisions, using insights from the team
- Understand how to influence stakeholders and leaders to implement the best ideas
What We Look For In You
- 10+ years' experience in content design or a related field
- 5 years' experience directly managing, coaching and developing full-time employees
- Experience building teams over time through hiring, growing, and retaining high-performing employees
- Experience working with a variety of cross-functional peers and stakeholders (e.g., product managers, data scientists, product designers, researchers, engineers, policy, communications, marketing)
- 5 years' experience working with product teams
- Experience influencing product strategy with cross function partners
- Experience establishing a Content Design, or similar, team within an established organization
Nice to Haves
- Experience designing for Fintech, Investment platforms, or Crypto products
- Experience working with global teams across offices and timezones
- Fluent in Mandarin
