The Brand Design team plays a vital role bringing Kraken to life.

Our well rounded brand design team includes art directors, graphic designers, illustrators, project managers and motion designers who work together across the organisation to create a holistic brand experience across all our channels. The team is at the forefront of visually communicating our brand's values and message, ensuring our presence is impactful and cohesive across all platforms. Even though we are fully set up remotely, we're a close team that loves to collaborate. 

We’ve recently refreshed our brand and we are in the midst of integrating this across everything that we do. We are continuously evolving our brand in line with that refresh, making sure that what we do truly resonates with our audience.

The Opportunity

• Work closely with a passionate Brand Design team responsible for ideating and producing a variety of modern design assets
• Being able to implement brand guidelines and give feedback on how to improve the consistency of our brand.
• Take concepts from ideation to delivery
• Actively participate in design reviews, both seeking and giving meaningful and supportive feedback
• Help grow our inclusive design team culture with your unique personality
• Collaborate with teams across the company, from marketing to product to engineering
• Work holistically across film, animation, illustration, digital design and graphic design 
• Take full accountability for your work and exercise consideration of every detail
• Innovate and explore the edges of technology and creativity

Skills You Should HODL

• A strong portfolio showcasing detail-oriented design work, strategic thinking and provocative creative
• A strong foundation in graphic design ( typography, color, layout, and composition) as well as some illustration chops
• Comfortable with the basics of After Effects and motion design
• Comfortable in Figma as well as Adobe CC products
• Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment, taking direction from art directors and design leads
• Desire to thrive within a fast-paced, emerging industry with a variety of design challenges
• A proactive communicator with experience communicating with stakeholders and collaborators on a daily basis
• Experience in Crypto or an avid follower of the industry

Nice to Haves

• Proficiency in English writing
• Remote working experience
• Some experience with 3D design is a plus
