Job Description
The Marketing Design Lead is a strategic leader responsible for defining and executing the visual identity and communication design of the marketing touch points. This pivotal role focuses on driving efficiency across all marketing channels, with a significant emphasis on optimizing performance marketing strategies to maximize user engagement and acquisition. This position will involve both design (60%) and project management (40%) and it will report to the VP of Marketing with functional manager Product Design Director, partnering closely with the marketing, growth and product teams
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Design Leadership: Direct the overall visual marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with the companyโs growth objectives and market positioning.
- Performance Marketing Focus: Spearhead design initiatives that enhance and optimize marketing campaigns, particularly in digital and video advertising, to improve performance metrics.
- Collaboration and Influence: Work closely with marketing, growth, and product teams to integrate visual design seamlessly into broader marketing strategies.
- Innovation and Adaptation: Proactively identify and act on emerging trends in design and marketing to keep the brand at the forefront of innovation.
- Design Excellence: Maintain rigorous standards of design quality and consistency, ensuring that all creative outputs align with strategic marketing goals.
Requirements
- Experience: 6-10 years in a senior design role with a proven track record in brand and performance marketing.
- Expertise: Strong background in visual storytelling and performance-driven design, with a portfolio demonstrating past successes in significant campaigns.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to think strategically, lead a design team, and work collaboratively with senior management and cross-functional teams.
- Strategic Thinking: Skilled in planning and executing long-term strategies, with a keen ability to anticipate market trends and align them with company objectives.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively articulating design vision and strategies to stakeholders at all levels.
