The Marketing team at Exploding Kittens is responsible for driving the strategy and execution of go-to-market plans for all product releases. The Senior Brand Manager will set the long-term strategic marketing plan for key releases, identifying consumer and retailer trends and translate those insights into new product concepts.

A successful candidate must have a passion for our mission, games, and technology; be a strategic and creative thinker; have recent experience building and developing gaming brands or similar as well as experience managing brand partnerships, and expertise in managing large-scale marketing campaigns.

HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE: 

  • Lead new product launches from conception to execution and deliver creative campaigns that drive revenue
  • Evolve the brand’s position, target audience, and current engagement across all utilized platforms
  • Ensure brand success by constant monitoring of marketing performance and taking swift, corrective action as needed.
  • Curate, expand, and develop relationships with entertainment partners and digital influencers for campaign activations and events
  • Identify and secure key brand/promotional partnerships and collaborations
  • Plan new assets to support and enhance the brand portfolio that can be used across licensing, partnerships, product development, PR, and marketing
  • Advanced in leveraging consumer insights and data to craft and execute marketing plans that effectively establish objectives, key messaging, positioning, and pinpoint target audiences

WHAT WE NEED: 

  • 7+ years experience in brand strategy, brand building, campaign management or agency equivalent role
  • Must be in the card/board game industry, or similar experience
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role
  • Highly strategic with sharp project management, problem-solving, organizational and analytical thinking skills
  • Demonstrated ability of developing go-to-market plans and large scale marketing campaigns for highly visible brands and/or product launches
  • Proficient in social media including Instagram, TikTok, and other app-based platforms, including community gaming platforms, Discord, Reddit, etc
  • Manage marketing budgets and provide insight or approval for all marketing expenses
  • Experience managing creative, media, and research agencies
