Responsibilities
- Solve user problems with well thought-out, delightful solutions.
- Conduct user research to understand users' needs and translate them into strong user experiences.
- Work with team and stakeholders to continually test, iterate, and improve work.
- Visualize ideas and concepts to communicate effectively to internal stakeholders and customers.
- Produce journey maps, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and other collateral to drive product development.
- Become an expert in ad-tech and programmatic media buying, understanding the competitive landscape and market needs as they relate to StackAdapt's product offering.
- Share work early and often.
- Provide design feedback and potentially mentor and coach other Product Designers.
Requirements
- Several years of end-to-end experience as a Product Designer including visual, interaction, and research skills.
- A portfolio demonstrating understanding of user problems, creating solutions from complexity, and storytelling skills from low-fidelity sketches to outcomes achieved.
- Understanding of design thinking, usability heuristics, inclusive design, design systems, and visual design skills (information design, typography, colour).
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, tailored to the audience.
- Experience delivering complex software designs and speaking to their successes.
- Empathy for all stakeholders with ability to tactfully defend design decisions and embrace feedback for improvement.
- Proficiency in modern product design tools.
- Knowledge of programming technologies.
