Responsibilities
- Lead the design process for a wide range of visual content, including graphics, illustrations, social media assets, website elements, marketing materials, and video animations.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop and execute compelling ideas that align with the brand and resonate with the sports-loving audience.
- Ensure consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all design projects.
- Continually evolve and elevate the brand identity while maintaining connection to core values and mission.
- Understand audience needs to create user-centric designs enhancing experience and engagement on digital platforms.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, content, and development to integrate design elements seamlessly.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers and contribute to design team growth.
- Stay up-to-date with latest design trends, sports industry innovations, and emerging technologies and apply this knowledge to design concepts.
- Take ownership of design projects from concept to completion with effective management of timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Analyze design performance and user feedback to iterate and optimize visual content continuously and conduct A/B testing to maximize engagement and conversions.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Minimum of 5 years professional experience in graphic design focused on digital media and sports-related projects with a strong design portfolio.
- Genuine passion for sports and deep understanding of sports cultures, events, and athletes to create compelling visual narratives.
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and experience with video editing and animation tools (Cinema4D).
- Ability to think creatively and innovatively to create fresh, engaging, visually stunning content.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills; experience leading projects and mentoring junior designers is a plus.
- Meticulous attention to detail ensuring high-quality design output and brand consistency.
- Adaptable to fast-paced, dynamic environments with changing priorities.
- Degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred but not mandatory if supported by relevant experience.
