Role Description
Are you a dynamic product designer passionate about working in sports betting? Join our payments team and shape the experience of transactions in the betting space! We're looking for a smart, humble and deep-thinking Intermediate Product Designer who is eager to learn and make an impact on the Payments team. you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design intuitive payment solutions and deliver a delightful trustworthy experience.
Typical Work Day
- Ship aesthetically pleasing user interfaces that delight and add value to our users.
- Work closely with other product designers, product managers, engineers, and various stakeholders, to solve user problems, from ideation to execution.
- Leverage our double-diamond design playbook and various frameworks such as Jobs to Be Done (JTBD) to create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, hi-fiโs etc.
- Follow and help evolve our design system and language across platforms.
- A critical part of product design involves pitching your work and justifying your design decisions, so youโll be expected to communicate and articulate your thoughts regularly.
- Being open and receptive to feedback, exploring iterations, and providing critique for other product designers.
- Participate in conducting user research, usability testing etc. and leveraging intelligence tools such as Amplitude for quantitative feedback.
- Always thinking about how to improve team and organizational processes.
- Most days, youโll be using Figma, so ensure you have a good understanding of how the tool works, from design to prototyping.
What Weโre Looking For From You
- Bachelorโs degree, or equivalent knowledge and/or experience.
- A strong portfolio showing your process of working through full end-to-end experiences, design thinking, and using research to drive decisions.
- Experience designing mobile UX / UI.
- A great understanding of iOS and Android patterns and conventions.
- You have excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills, and youโre always considering the business side of design to further the strategy of the company.
- Youโre comfortable working autonomously and proactively, while also knowing when to bring others in to move things forward quickly,
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma.
- Nice to have: Front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
