As a Product Designer in our company, you will collaborate with a diverse team to enhance user experience, focusing on our Mobile & Collaboration business unit. We strive for excellence in messaging, seamless communication, and superior mobile experiences. You will oversee the project from conceptualization and design thinking, through user research, to interaction design and execution. Work/Project Scope:
- Advocate and educate product teams on best practices related to mobile designing and building with our Mobile Design Playbook
- Collaborate with user researchers, product managers, developers, analysts, and others to design customer-centric solutions that enhance the Messaging and Mobile experience
- Demonstrate high quality design practices. This includes participation in all aspects of product design: research & discovery, facilitation, concepting, interaction design, visual execution, design handoff, and QA
- Ensure decisions are made with appropriate data and user insights and follow existing design systems & principles while making well-informed decisions to create new patterns when needed
- Collab & Mobile have been focused on three pillars:

- Week 3
- Establish a comprehensive understanding of the product UX and its connections to related teams and backend systems. Understand the team's roadmap and goals. Begin building relationships with cross-functional partners (UX, UXR, PM, Eng) and learn how to collaborate effectively.
- Week 5
- Continue contributing to design work, which may include connecting with UXR, creating user flows, performing audits, creating wireframes, conducting competitive research, or creating high fidelity designs. Contribute to defining product scope, establishing user flows, and managing partnerships and the product development cycle.
- Week 7
- Achieve a deeper understanding of the tasks ahead and be prepared to hit the ground running. Become an active voice within the larger UX team, contributing to product discovery and evolution. Also establish yourself as a voice within the Mobile & Collaboration team.
- Week 3
Must Haves (Required Skills):
- Proven years of experience in mobile product design
- Highly self-motivated with a continuous learning mindset
- Possess problem-solving skills and familiarity with technical constraints and limitations, particularly in designing for platforms like mobile (Android and iOS) and desktop.
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to articulate design decisions
- Portfolio is required
