Resilia is looking to hire a Product Design Manager to build user centric products nonprofits and funders love to use to meet their capacity building goals. The Product Design Manager will be responsible for management of 2 design team members and design work within a pod. The role will report directly to the VP of Product, Ashley Baldwin.

What to Expect:

  • First Week: You will receive a 30-60-90 day onboarding plan, get set up with all the technologies that support your work in a remote environment, and start to meet other Resilians.
  • First Month: You will establish relationships with your new direct reports, onboard onto your pod’s area of ownership, and contribute to current work on the pod. You will partner with direct reports to create individual development plans that help them realize their career goals at Resilia.
  • First Six Months: You will increase our user satisfaction scores by 40% in product usability and decrease time to value for our users through iterative and design led UX changes. You will make meaningful contributions to your pod's ability to complete quarterly objectives and key results (OKRs).
  • First Year: You will take ownership of design led initiatives, like our design system. You will ship a major feature that our nonprofits love. You will achieve team engagement scores at or above industry standard for the design team.

About You:

  • You've overseen an entire design system end-to-end and know how to identify and address areas that need to be improved as the organization and product grow and change
  • You are comfortable crafting continuous discovery programs across a design organization to consistently collect and act on feedback from users
  • You feel strongly about the impact and importance of design in creating features and products users love and love to use
  • You're comfortable operating in situations of ambiguity with a bias for action
  • You have a low-ego attitude that helps you adapt to day-to-day changes while staying focused on long-term vision
  • You take pride in your ability to help your direct reports learn and grow. You cultivate a continuous feedback culture, seek to foster a positive work environment, prioritize open and effective communication, and trust your direct reports to own their pod's domain work while supporting them when/as they need it
  • You believe that there is huge long-term potential in working for a mission-oriented venture-backed SaaS startup seeking to transform the sector from funder-driven to nonprofit first
  • You’re committed to living the operating principles that guide how we work: Be Lionhearted, Put Nonprofits First, Move the Needle, Elevate Equity, and Create Gathering Places

Compensation Range: $125K - $160K
