Key Responsibilities
- Lead product design initiatives from concept to execution, in tight collaboration with PMs and engineers
- Help pioneer the next generation of AI-driven experiences by setting the standard for design innovation, harnessing the latest trends to push boundaries and redefine whatβs possible
- Bring a strong visual and interaction design sensibility to the team, elevating product quality
- Proactively identify UX opportunities and advocate for innovative solutions
- Prototype using Figma and AI first prototyping tools like Lovable, V0, Cursor, etc.
- Push for systems thinking and champion AI as a creative and strategic advantage to help shape team practices that unlock innovation
- Drive design reviews and contribute actively to critiques, mentoring other designers as needed
- Influence product and UX strategy with a "get it done" mindset
Who You Are
- A portfolio that demonstrates exceptional UI craft and a strong sense of interaction design and visual hierarchy (portfolio submission required)
- 3β5 years of experience designing user-facing products, ideally with some experience in fast-paced B2C or SaaS environments
- You're customer obsessed, deeply understand their problems and base your design decisions on their needs and goals
- Advanced skills in Figma
- You're a self-starter who takes initiative and doesnβt wait for permission to improve things
- An ability to influence teams and processes to drive change, not just follow along
- A direct communication style and high urgency - you value clarity, momentum, and fast decision-making
- Experience working with or contributing to design systems in cross-functional teams
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with emerging AI-based design/prototyping tools like Lovable, V0, Cursor and other prompting design tools
- Background designing for AI-powered features or data-heavy tools
- Previous experience co-located with product and engineering teams in high-growth startups
- Based in or willing to relocate to New York or Paris
