Responsibilities
- Redesigning the builder experience from the ground up โ creating a workflow system thatโs intuitive, powerful, and scalable.
- Balancing visual simplicity with functional depth to ensure non-technical users can build automations with confidence.
- Exploring AI-powered experiences: prompt-based workflow creation, agent-triggered flows, and co-pilot-style support.
- Taking ownership of the entire design process โ discovery, ideation, prototyping, testing, iteration, and delivery.
- Collaborating with engineers, product leaders, and stakeholders to shape solutions from concept to release.
- Validating ideas through user research, experiments, and data analysis โ iterating based on real impact, not guesswork.
- Contributing to the broader design culture at Text by sharing insights, giving feedback, and raising the quality bar.

You May Be a Great Fit for This Role If You Have
- 4 or more years of product design experience, ideally in SaaS or complex tool/product environments.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating UX/UI thinking, interaction design, and problem-solving on complex systems.
- Fluency in Figma and other design/research tools (e.g. Hotjar, Amplitude).
- Experience leading end-to-end product design processes.
- Strong communication skills for presenting ideas, facilitating discussions, and aligning cross-team decisions.
Nice to have
- Experience with automation platforms (Zapier, Integromat, Airtable, etc.) or other โbuilderโ tools.
- Familiarity with AI-powered experiences or LLM-driven interfaces.
- Interest in emerging standards like MCP.
- Experience in user research and experimentation (A/B testing, usability studies).
