Responsibilities

• Play a crucial role in shaping the future of Kraken in the Crypto space.
• Spearhead the design and delivery of the new dopamine fueled degen trading app Inky from concept to delivery.
• Raise the bar for the industry by creating visually rich, forward-thinking designs that elevate Kraken’s brand.
• Shape and evolve Inky’s visual language, strengthening the design system and overall brand expression.
• Craft exceptional user experiences by collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and engineers.
• Influence stakeholders to uphold the highest standards of design quality and user experience.
• Own design quality, outcomes, and measurable results fully.
• Stay ahead of emerging trends using customer insights to refine and advance design direction.
• Contribute actively to design reviews by seeking and offering constructive feedback.

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering end-to-end product design with a portfolio showcasing high-quality mobile app work.
• Strong UX and visual design skills and ability to deliver thoughtful, user-centered solutions.
• Working knowledge of prototyping tools and techniques with clear communication of ideas.
• Comfortable taking ownership of features or projects while collaborating with peers and cross-functional partners.
• Open-minded, collaborative, eager to learn from feedback and iterate on designs.
• Data-informed approach balancing user insights, business needs, and technical feasibility.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to manage priorities and align with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with human-centered design principles and research methods.
• Ability to articulate rationale behind design decisions and present work clearly to peers and stakeholders.

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of Bitcoin, cryptocurrency, or financial products is a plus but not required.
