Responsibilities
- Design and test new features to help prospective clients find mental health support tailored to their needs, prioritizing an intuitive, supportive, and efficient user experience.
- Work closely and transparently with partners from Product, Engineering, Data, and Marketing.
- Work iteratively, using A/B testing, research, and other tools to test hypotheses and solutions.
- Collaborate with other designers across the organization, especially with the Care Finding Provider team representing the clinical side of the marketplace.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer in a consumer-facing space.
- Experience with search or marketplaces preferred but not required.
- Portfolio with case studies showcasing deep understanding of user needs, creative problem-solving, and ability to build consumer-grade experiences.
- Comfortable working rapidly and iteratively with a bias toward action and focus on measurable user and business outcomes.
- Curious, ambitious, empathetic, and strategic designer who thrives in complexity and brings clarity to ambiguous problems.
- Fluency in digital design and prototyping tools, especially Figma; ability to communicate ideas through flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Passionate about user research, including moderating interviews and synthesizing insights, advocating for accessibility and usability.
- Motivated by Almaβs mission to improve mental health care delivery and experience.
