Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the design strategy for the Lifecycle group, focusing on activation, conversion, retention, and re-engagement.
- Collaborate with Product partners to identify funnel opportunities and design growth experiments.
- Lead and mentor a team of product designers fostering curiosity, accountability, and quality.
- Design, prototype, and test growth-focused solutions across onboarding, premium upsells, authentication, and dashboard entry points.
- Partner with analytics and research to turn insights into actionable design opportunities.
- Ensure design outcomes are measurable, accessible, and aligned with user needs and business goals.
- Build scalable patterns and frameworks for growth experiments enabling rapid testing without sacrificing usability.
- Present design strategies and results to senior leadership highlighting user impact and business value.
- Work with Product Design Ops to maintain and evolve the design process ensuring efficient workflows and quality deliverables.
- Champion user-centered design principles to create intuitive, accessible experiences informed by research and feedback.
Requirements
- 8+ years of product or UX design experience with a portfolio demonstrating clarity and impact.
- 2+ years leading or mentoring designers, formally or informally.
- Experience designing for growth, onboarding, and user acquisition/engagement.
- Proficiency in Figma and modern design systems.
- Skilled in collaboration with engineers and PMs understanding design implementation impacts.
- Clear communication skills to frame design rationale and build alignment.
- Motivated to balance hands-on contribution with coaching and delegation.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and proactive in bringing structure and clarity.
