Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product design for high-impact, multi-surface experiences, with a primary focus on touchscreen interfaces.
• Translate company and product strategy into designs and user journeys that scale.
• Design and prototype polished, animated interactions that clearly convey motion, behavior, and state changes with hierarchy, rhythm, and clarity.
• Extend and maintain the PushPress Design System to ensure adaptive, accessible, and cohesive experiences across all devices.
• Design intelligent, context-aware experiences that feel predictive, conversational, and personalized.
• Prototype new patterns for adaptive and intent-driven workflows that streamline complex user goals.
• Lead multiple complex design initiatives, ensuring consistency, speed, and data-informed decisions grounded in user research and actionable insights.
• Communicate ideas with clarity and influence through storytelling, diagrams, and visual frameworks that align cross-functional partners around shared goals.

Requirements

• 7+ years designing digital products, ideally across mobile and multi-device ecosystems.
• Proven success leading cross-functional, multi-product design initiatives with measurable results.
• Expert in Figma, and skilled with motion and prototyping tools.
• Deep understanding of visual and interaction design, and able to express nuance, feedback, and delight through animation.
• Strong grasp of AI-enhanced design concepts and systems-level interaction patterns.
• Experience extending or evolving design systems for scalable, adaptive interfaces.
• Commitment to accessibility best practices: perceivable, operable, understandable, and inclusive experiences (color contrast, keyboard navigation, focus states, text alternatives, and semantic structure).
• Strategic communication skills with the ability to easily shift between high-level storytelling and detail-oriented documentation.

Bonus Points

• Hands-on experience designing for accessibility, inclusive interaction patterns, motion sensitivity, and WCAG-compliant design.
• Experience working in an early-stage startup environment, comfortable with ambiguity and rapid iteration.
• Background or genuine passion for fitness, health, or wellness; you understand the mindset of coaches, athletes, and entrepreneurs.
