Responsibilities
- Conduct discovery research to understand user needs and pain points, then share these insights with your peers in Product, Design and Engineering.
- Facilitate workshops and design sprints with teams and stakeholders to explore solutions and gain buy-in.
- Own the end-to-end user journey for your product area and be the advocate for your user persona.
- Ideate and iterate on solutions using writing, low-fidelity designs, high-fidelity designs, and usability tests.
- Collaborate closely through design critiques to ensure intuitive, accessible, and visually appealing solutions.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to define success metrics and measure user feedback and UX metrics.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams to align and deliver exceptional user experience.
- Communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders to understand customer needs and describe design solutions clearly.
- Promote continuous improvement to elevate product and processes.
- Contribute to development and maintenance of the design system to ensure coherent experiences across the platform.
- Help others grow through feedback and skill sharing.
- Foster debate to drive innovation.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in product design, focused on B2B SaaS products.
- Portfolio showing track record in shipping high-quality solutions quickly without ego.
- Holistic UX approach including research, visual design, interaction design, and information architecture.
- Experience designing for mobile devices with responsive techniques.
- Proficiency in designing digital experiences compliant with or beyond WCAG 2.2 guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills visual, verbal, and written; confident presenting to stakeholders and customers.
- Strong product judgment to know when to act quickly or invest in deeper understanding.
- Curiosity for innovation with technology, particularly AI and large language models like Google Gemini.
- Foundational understanding of AI tools and desire to explore their use for solving business and customer problems.
