Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a multi-disciplinary design organization, including product designers and engineers.
- Define and drive the design strategy for the product portfolio.
- Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to shape product vision, strategy, and roadmap execution.
- Uphold design excellence through design reviews and maintain consistency.
- Strengthen the design operating model and refine cross-functional collaboration processes.
- Champion user-centered design practices leveraging research and data.
- Collaborate to advance design systems, accessibility, and usability standards.
- Mentor and develop design leaders with guidance on leadership and execution.
- Foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and high performance.
- Represent design in company-wide forums and communicate priorities to senior stakeholders.
- Contribute to org-wide initiatives supporting customer success, innovation, and product differentiation.
Requirements
- 10–15 years of UX/product design experience with 4+ years leading teams/design managers.
- Experience designing and leading complex enterprise SaaS or B2B applications.
- Success in building and scaling multi-team design organizations and processes.
- Experience driving cross-functional alignment at the director level.
- Deep understanding of interaction design, systems thinking, and design operations.
- Knowledge bridging design and front-end development with component-based frameworks.
- Strong leadership skills to motivate and develop design talent.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills for influencing senior leaders.
- Ability to balance strategic vision and hands-on execution with business acumen.
- Expertise in modern design and collaboration tools like Figma, Jira, Miro.
- Portfolio or case studies demonstrating leadership, strategy, and impact.
