Responsibilities

• Be a design lead within a cross-functional product team, partnering with engineers, product managers, and peers to oversee the user experience from idea to market.
• Form part of the EPAD Organization that includes Engineering, Product, Analytics, and Design functions.
• Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and help implement designs to pixel perfection ensuring quality and vision reflection.
• Manage own timelines and deliverables, exercising solid judgment in prioritization.
• Act as a leader within the team, influencing strategy and work scope.
• Collaborate with designers across organizations in sprints to ensure scalable and consistent user experiences.
• Proactively present and communicate designs to leadership, immediate team, and peers to build consensus and gather feedback.
• Test, learn, and iterate on designs alongside product peers.
• Use, maintain, and contribute components to the Design System library.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing modern consumer-focused products and being the design lead of multiple product teams.
• Highly proficient in Figma and high-fidelity prototyping tools (e.g., Protopie, Framer, Origami).
• Strong skills in crafting high-quality visual designs with attention to creating delightful experiences.
• A portfolio showcasing primary design contributions across desktop and mobile projects.
• Frequent personal use of Discord, preferably with gaming experience.
• Ability to proactively form ideas and communicate via documents, prototypes, and presentations.
• Collaboratively guide product vision using design explorations, documentation, and presentations.
• Ownership mindset with bias towards action and low ego, focused on progress and growth.
• Experience working with design systems and libraries.
• Must reside or be willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area.
