The impact you'll make
- Lead end-to-end mobile design across iOS and Android from insight to execution focusing on performance, delight, and interaction design.
- Drive modernization of the Weedmaps app with cutting-edge mobile design paradigms and interaction models.
- Translate strategy into engaging experiences across discovery, browsing, ordering, personalization, and social connection.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Brand leadership to define design language and elevate visual standards.
- Use motion, micro-interactions, and system-level design thinking to enhance the mobile ecosystem.
- Build and expand the mobile design system ensuring scalability and excellence.
- Mentor designers and shape creative direction to elevate design quality across the organization.
What you've accomplished
- 10+ years of product design experience with a focus on native mobile applications.
- Proven success designing and shipping marketplace, e-commerce, or social network products.
- Mastery of modern mobile interaction patterns like gestural navigation and personalized surfaces.
- Strong visual craft, motion, and interaction design skills creating intuitive user experiences.
- Ability to lead ambiguous initiatives, set design direction, and influence product strategy at executive level.
- Deep understanding of consumer psychology and behavioral patterns in mobile commerce ecosystems.
- Collaborative mindset passionate about building alive, social, and future-forward products.

- Experience with creator or influencer tools, social feeds, or content discovery connecting communities and brands.
