Responsibilities
- Contribute to the vision and design strategy connecting customer and business value
- Apply creative and conceptual design skills to evolve ideas driving innovation
- Utilize product knowledge to navigate ambiguity and define customer problem statements
- Work independently with minimal direction on design validation methods
- Facilitate cross-functional ideation sessions using various methods
- Use design system guidelines and contribute to components and patterns
- Collaborate effectively and communicate to create understanding and alignment
- Present with anticipation of questions, articulating data-supported viewpoints
- Understand business logic and technical constraints of systems
- Partner closely with product, engineering, and other teams including marketing and sales
- Lead customer research sessions to uncover insights and opportunities
- Apply various research methods like rapid prototyping and affinity mapping
- Evaluate and leverage AI tools to improve processes
- Use quantitative and qualitative data for decision making
- Seek feedback to drive innovation and enhance customer experience
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a full-time Product Design role
- Experience with B2B and/or B2C; SMB customer experience or healthcare is a plus
- Portfolio demonstrating simplified, intuitive user experiences including AI-native
- Ability to use data insights to iterate design solutions
- Expertise in UX Design, UI Design, Interaction Design, Responsive Design, Mobile Design, Prototyping, Information Architecture, Accessibility, Data synthesis
- Experience working with a design system
- Proficient with Figma tools including FigJam and FigmaMake
- Experience leveraging AI tools in design process
- Growth mindset
