Responsibilities

  • Act as the main subject matter expert on Smartly’s Creative Suite and creative tooling, supporting Customer Success, Sales, and Product with advanced creative guidance.
  • Partner closely with Customer Success to support pitches, demos, and exploratory creative conversations focused on advanced capabilities and workflows.
  • Build and deliver training programs, workshops, and best practice sessions for new and experienced designers using Smartly’s tools.
  • Conduct expert-level live demos (virtual and in-person) to help designers integrate Smartly with Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, After Effects, and other industry-standard tools.
  • Collaborate with teams across Customer Success, Sales, and Product to identify common creative pain points, upskilling needs, and opportunities to improve user adoption.
  • Develop documentation, guides, tutorials, and templates to support ongoing creative education and self-serve learning.
  • Measure the effectiveness of training and enablement programs using adoption, retention, and customer feedback metrics, and iterate based on insights.
  • Stay current with design trends, creative software, AI in creative, and evolving advertising best practices to ensure Smartly’s creative training is modern and relevant.

Requirements

  • Have 8+ years of hands-on experience as a designer, with strong expertise in digital advertising, graphic design, UI/UX, illustration, or motion design.
  • Are highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, After Effects, and familiar with HTML5 and other creative tools.
  • Have proven experience delivering creative or technical training to advanced learners.
  • Can clearly communicate and demo complex creative concepts to experienced designers.
  • Understand creative workflows end-to-end, especially within digital advertising and campaign production.
  • Are empathetic, customer-focused, and comfortable driving designer-to-designer conversations.
  • Can manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have experience with LMS platforms or content creation tools (a plus).
  • Hold a degree in Graphic Design, UI/UX, or a related fieldβ€”or equivalent experience.
