Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design process and ship experiences across mobile and web platforms.
• Work cross-functionally with product and engineering partners, facilitate design discussions, and ensure design quality.
• Work iteratively to define problems and quickly find solutions.
• Speak with customers frequently, collect insights, test assumptions, and translate research takeaways into meaningful outcomes.
• Craft intuitive design flows, sketches, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI for mobile and web.
• Help evolve and grow the design practice at GameChanger. Contribute to the design system, participate in design critiques, share resources, and aid in brainstorms.
• Question the status quo and advocate for change.

Requirements

• Knowledge and interest in sports.
• 3+ years designing user-focused native mobile products.
• Experience designing and shipping native iOS and Android apps used by end users.
• Portfolio showcasing impact, processes, sketches, collaboration, and reflection with at least two detailed case studies.
• Experience taking large problems from zero to launch and iterating based on feedback and data.
• Conduct user research including user interviews, tests, analyzing behavioral data, and summarizing findings.
• Communicate design decisions clearly to product, engineering, and leadership teams.
• Data-oriented mindset focused on improving user experience.
• Seek and provide meaningful feedback, motivated by team success.
