Responsibilities
- Develop and drive the overall experience design vision aligned with company goals, target audiences, and the product roadmap for ApartmentIQ.
- Own the design system, along with a plan for evolutionary implementation to bring the vision to reality over time.
- Collaborate with product and engineering to prioritize and spec out new features
- Work directly with engineering to ensure a feature gets built, balancing your vision, technical feasibility, and user value
- Design new features all the way from concept to finalized pixels
- Conduct user research to gain deep insights into user behavior, needs, and pain points. Utilize findings to inform and validate design decisions.
Qualifications
- You have 8+ years of UX product design with a portfolio showcasing the impact of your work on the business.
- You have experience working on a small design team and "doing it all".
- You enjoy going deep on both UX and UI work.
- You're a clear communicator and enjoy working closely with partners across teams, particularly in engineering.
- You've invested in your craft and have experience with data visualization and interaction design.
- Experience mentoring and providing guidance to other designers.
