Candidate Profile

• High standards with a critical and solution-oriented mindset.
• Experience shipping complex, high-quality products, ideally 2+ years with technical or ops-heavy users.
• Ability to handle ambiguity and bring structure.
• Balance between speed and design quality.

Core Work - First 6 Months

• Own product design from ideation to shipping polished experiences.
• Create visual identity, brand, design system, and style guidelines.
• Design user workflows making complex systems intuitive and powerful.
• Promote design quality and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to influence roadmap.
• Help define Spur's voice beyond the product including marketing and presence.

Growth Opportunities

• Build and lead the design team, including hiring and culture.
• Shape public design voice via thought leadership and industry presence.

Additional Responsibilities

• Collaborate on go-to-market strategy, crafting launch assets and social content.
• Represent Spur at design events and conferences.
