Responsibilities

  • Understand product context with PMs, Devs, and team members before project start, focusing on objectives and value delivery
  • Consider deadlines, project requirements, business rules, dependencies, risks, and other limitations; help define clear, measurable success metrics
  • Plan and apply quantitative and qualitative research with external or internal clients to identify motivations, needs, behaviors, and pain points in the product journey
  • Understand business KPIs and gather data to assess product performance and identify improvement opportunities
  • Identify trends and opportunities through benchmarking competitors and indirect competitors
  • Collaborate on solution scope definition using journeys, flowcharts, opportunity maps, wireframes, and other tools
  • Contribute to the Flash design system
  • Design system architecture and use cases through detailed flowcharts and plans
  • Create wireframes for quick validation of content, flows, and value proposition
  • Develop high-fidelity prototypes respecting branding guidelines and interface standards, detailing interactions and breakpoints for realistic experience visualization
  • Prepare clear and detailed handoffs with documentation of use cases, business rules, interface behaviors, success and error feedback, and tracking maps
  • Analyze project results to identify improvement opportunities and iterate quickly to achieve expected outcomes

  • Ensure involvement and alignment of PMs, Devs, and decision-makers throughout design processes, communicating clearly and appropriately
  • Promote design culture and client-focused vision as a business strategy and differentiation
  • Actively participate in team ceremonies, contribute to area standards and processes, and mentor team designers on methods and best practices to ensure consistency
  • Demonstrate leadership by inspiring technically and behaviorally, progressing towards management or specialist roles
