Responsibilities
- Identify and address bottlenecks within the design lifecycle including discovery, critique, stakeholder review, and engineering handoff.
- Design, implement, and maintain standardized operating procedures and templates for the Design organization.
- Manage project prioritization, track team capacity, and assist with resourcing with Design Leadership.
- Establish and govern a central repository for operational knowledge including documentation for processes, roles, and collaboration models.
- Define and champion best practices for core design technology including Figma, prototyping tools, and research platforms.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging tools and technologies to keep the design stack efficient and secure.
- Plan, coordinate, and facilitate key design team rituals such as design critiques, planning sessions, and all-hands meetings.
- Develop and execute onboarding programs for new design, research, and content team members.
- Manage internal and external communications to ensure transparency and alignment with Product and Engineering teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in Design Operations, Program Management, or related operational role in a UX or Product organization.
- Proven expertise in mapping, optimizing, and scaling complex design workflows within a technology company.
- Deep familiarity with modern design technology, especially Figma for component library management and collaboration.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills with a track record of influencing stakeholders across disciplines.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage complex schedules for distributed or hybrid teams.
- Familiarity with AI-powered tools for design process automation and efficiency improvements.
