Responsibilities
- Lead the design for a product centred around data, simplifying complex e-commerce metrics.
- Partner with product managers and engineers to oversee user experience from conception to launch.
- Define the structure and flow of performance dashboards with simple and elegant design flows.
- Use findings from user research and data analysis to inform design decisions and improve insights clarity.
- Think strategically about product direction including what to build and why.
- Identify opportunities for AI in design and mentor others on its use.
Requirements
- Product mindset with deep understanding of product development process.
- Experience designing dashboards, analytics tools, and data visualizations for e-commerce or analytics platforms.
- Experience working with design systems and ability to evolve them.
- Strong communication skills to explain design rationale and complexities.
- Growth mindset, willingness to own problems, comfort with ambiguity, desire to improve, balanced optimism and humility.
Basic Requirements
- 8+ years of professional product design experience.
- Portfolio demonstrating user-centered design, strong visual and interaction design, and data storytelling.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma.
Desirable
- Prior experience in e-commerce or social media.
- Experience in multinational product development organisations.
