Responsibilities
- Evolve and maintain the Rhombus visual brand identity across channels
- Design high-quality assets across web, product marketing, email, presentations, video, social, print collateral, and events
- Lead visual execution for events and tradeshows, including brochures, signage, booth graphics, swag, and supporting materials
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to develop creative that clearly communicates Rhombusβ value to a wide range of audiences
- Bring our product to life for current and prospective customers through simple, compelling visual storytelling
- Present and articulate design concepts and rationale to cross-functional partners and stakeholders
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in visual, brand, or marketing design
- Proven success with a portfolio demonstrating strong execution, craft, and real-world impact
- A strategic, execution-minded designer who understands how creative supports marketing goals, growth initiatives, and brand positioning
- Strong visual storytelling skills with a refined eye for layout, typography, color, composition, and visual hierarchy
- Fluency in modern design tools for print, events, and sales materials (e.g. Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft PowerPoint)
- Experience in web design, including creating new website pages and flows for product launches
- Working knowledge of print design and production, including collaborating with external vendors and understanding print constraints
- Comfort working on a small, fast-moving team, balancing autonomy with collaboration
- Highly detail-oriented and organized, with ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines
- Confidence presenting work and incorporating feedback from cross-functional partners and stakeholders
Bonus Points
- Illustration and/or icon design experience to maintain a growing custom icon library
- Events and tradeshow experience, including booth design and vendor management (contractors, printers, photographers)
Location
- This is a hybrid position based in Sacramento, CA. Candidates must be able to commute to the office as required; Sacramento - 3 days/week (Tues-Thurs), SF/Bay Area - 1 day/week
Work Authorization
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
Compensation
- $80,000 - $110,000
- Additional forms of compensation include uncapped commission, performance incentives, discretionary bonuses, and equity in the company.
