The Opportunity

  • Define how agents and humans collaborate across our study delivery platform in internal operator portal and ResearchOS ecosystem.
  • Shape the experience of AI-driven study delivery and design culture at PicnicHealth.
  • Help define meaningful, transparent human–AI collaboration and impact clinical research.

What you’ll do

  • Shape product development on the Run team, including agent actions and human interventions.
  • Apply product thinking, interaction design, and visual design skills to AI-powered clinical research.
  • Define and evolve AI-first interaction patterns for study delivery collaboration.
  • Evolve ecosystem supporting study configuration, collaboration, and lifecycle management.
  • Integrate new capabilities as study types and complexity expand.
  • Balance user needs, engineering constraints, and workflows to design effective tools.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and designers; set visual and interaction language standards.
  • Express ideas from system diagrams to prototypes to drive alignment.
  • Be comfortable with ambiguity; define and solve problems.
  • Maintain high quality of work and uphold design standards.
  • Mentor designers and help scale design standards across study delivery.

  • Define ResearchOS as a platform for agent-human collaboration with increasing autonomy.
  • Rethink information architecture and create new interaction patterns.
  • Understand and test with internal and external users.
  • Develop innovative cross-company AI interaction patterns.
  • Collaborate with leadership to define the future AI-driven study delivery experience.

What You’ll Bring

  • 7+ years shipping end-to-end product experiences.
  • Experience integrating AI into design workflows and ideas for new applications.
  • Collaborative mindset with strong relationships across teams.
  • Ability to simplify complex problems and communicate designs effectively.
  • Strong visual design, motion, and prototyping skills.
  • Experience with usability testing and designing for human and AI users.
  • Leadership skills including storytelling, frameworks, and intentionality.

Nice to haves

  • Experience integrating AI in enterprise use cases including competitive audits and model capability understanding.
