Responsibilities
- Co-own the end-to-end design process for Travel Mode within iOS and Android apps, from discovery to high-fidelity final treatments.
- Work within a rapid experimentation culture, leveraging testing and mobile-specific analytics for iterative design decisions.
- Shape and communicate a clear vision for the MVP, balancing strategic goals with hands-on execution.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to turn complex guidance data and marketplace logistics into simple mobile solutions.
- Champion user-centered design, defining features that leverage native platform capabilities for a premium app experience.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience shipping native mobile products with deep understanding of platform-specific behaviors.
- A portfolio showcasing high-quality, production-ready mobile experiences, focusing on polish like transitions and visual hierarchy.
- Proven history of partnering with engineers to ship high-performance features, understanding technical constraints.
- Strong communication skills to explain design rationale and mentor teams.
- User-centric mindset using research, data, and frameworks to advocate for users and remove friction.
- Deep familiarity with iOS and Android conventions and latest mobile trends.
