About the Role
- Lead design within CaptivateIQβs Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) product line.
- Operate with high autonomy partnering with Product, Engineering, CX, and executive leadership.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the design vision for a major product area, aligning with leadership.
- Lead and guide design across multiple teams, reviewing and approving work.
- Identify and lead complex, high-impact initiatives shaping new problems and opportunities.
- Design and evolve foundational systems, architectures, and reusable patterns.
- Mentor designers and help teams raise their execution bar over time.
- Co-lead with senior Product and Engineering leaders to influence strategy and prioritization.
- Improve team collaboration and quality by identifying and correcting gaps.
- Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies including AI.
- Communicate clearly through writing crisp documents articulating vision and tradeoffs.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience designing B2B SaaS products, ideally enterprise or platform software.
- Successful track record leading company-critical initiatives as an individual contributor.
- Exceptional strength in UX, UI, system design, and interaction design with high standards.
- Deep product, domain, and business acumen connecting design decisions to outcomes.
- Experience designing complex, data-heavy, workflow-driven systems at enterprise scale.
- Ability to coach and elevate other design leaders including senior-level designers.
- Comfort operating with high autonomy and navigating ambiguity.
- Exceptional communication skills with presence to influence executive leadership.
- Strong judgment, leadership presence, ability to drive alignment without formal authority.
