We are building out our presence in Athens and looking for our 2nd product designer to join our product team alongside Danae based out of Amsterdam. As our first hire in Greece, we think this should excite you:

As the first hire, you’ll play a pivotal role in establishing Coolset's presence in Greece and making a lasting impact in our growth.

🧐 Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate lands between product design and brand design, and has a knack for making products desirable. We’re a small team so you will be designing to ship fast and you are happy to work with the pace and the reasonable amount of ambiguity that comes in a startup. We have high trust within the team, so you like to be self-managing and self-starting.

🎯 What will you be working on?

We’re focused on scaling the product and solidifying Coolset as a go-to sustainability platform in the market. We’re finding product-market fit and our goal is to build on brand recognition and expand our user base (with many customer champions advocating for our product).

As a product designer, you will strongly influence Coolset’s direction as a product and a brand. You’ll be working on:

Scaling the product: Working closely with product and development to crack through our product roadmap. This involves identifying problems based on user feedback and market research, mapping out flows and prototyping solutions for end to end customer experiences.
Establishing the brand: Collaborating with marketing and sales to refine Coolset’s brand and messaging. This includes establishing compelling visuals, animations and using no-code (design) products to shape one pagers, ads, emails and more.

🤟🏼 You'd be a great fit if

You have strong experience working as a product designer, preferably with high-growth B2B SaaS startups. Years of experience isn’t necessarily a good metric, but you should be confident calling yourself a senior product designer. We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, manages their time well, is organized and works effectively in a startup environment.
You have great taste and deeply care about delivering a desirable experience end to end. You advocate pushing the boundaries with delightful visuals and interactions.
Your daily design stack includes designing and prototyping interactive flows in Figma. Bonus if you’re familiar and like building web designs on Webflow.
You're excited to work in a startup environment with daily stand-ups and quick product validation cycles.

👀 Our recruitment process

Before interview: CV & portfolio screening — Send over your CV and portfolio, or, if you do not have a portfolio prepared, any pieces of work you are particularly proud of.
30-min ‘Get to know you’ interview — We will get back to you and set up a 30 min interview with Danae, our product designer on Google Meet to talk about your experience, the company, and the potential fit with Coolset.
60-min case discussion — Over Google Meet, you'll present your results to a product challenge we have given you. In this phase, we'll evaluate your ability to create usable and desirable products, understand business decisions, and demonstrate your design skills.
120-min working session — We will arrange a session for you to work alongside our team to brainstorm together on a new feature, offering a glimpse of working at Coolset.
