Responsibilities

• Shape Durable’s core user experience.
• Lead the design of intelligent, AI-native systems.
• Invent new patterns for interacting with AI.
• Simplify complex tasks into beautiful flows.
• Empower small business owners with AI.
• Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and leadership.
• Define great AI UX and set standards for building it.
• Guide the design team and deliver impactful work.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience on shipped B2C products.
• Portfolio that can be discussed in depth.
• Comfortable producing in code or with AI-assisted coding tools.
• Fluent with AI creative tooling (image gen, video gen, voice).
• Experience designing AI or generative experiences.
• Systems thinking.
• Bonus: Exceptional brand design and motion skills.
• Bonus: Startup experience or own projects launched.

Fine Print

• Vancouver-based company. Candidates must be based in Canada.
• Remote options available, with quarterly in-office travel to Vancouver.
• Compensation is $150,000–$210,000 CAD base plus equity, depending on seniority.
