Job Description
- Shape ways of working: build, maintain, and scale effective design processes and healthy team culture for smooth collaboration across squads and the product team;
- Grow the team: develop designersβ core and adjacent skills, and maintain clear growth frameworks like career ladders and competency maps;
- Build collaboration: drive cross-team rituals β brainstorms, hackathons, workshops β to strengthen creativity and culture;
- Champion design: protect and elevate design culture so it remains a strategic pillar across the product organisation;
- Align processes: unify and optimise design workflows, ensure transparent delivery, and remove bottlenecks across squads;
- Own the pipeline: manage the design backlog end to end, from prioritisation and capacity planning to cross-team alignment;
- Evolve the system: maintain and advance the design system so patterns stay relevant, scalable, and consistently adopted;
- Design with AI: integrate AI deeply into product flows as a core experience, not an add-on;
- Apply gamification: use gamification mechanics and user psychology to build engaging, behaviour-shaping experiences;
- Think deeply: apply strong critical thinking, user insight, and market awareness to guide product decisions.
Requirements
- A strong candidate has 5+ years of experience working on world-class B2C product;
- Proven experience leading a Design Team of 5+ people, with a track record of growing and empowering talent;
- Strong expertise in building, scaling, and optimizing Product Design processes across squads and cross-functional teams;
- High emotional intelligence, deep empathy, and a genuine passion for developing designers through thoughtful, systematic team leadership;
- Experience with Health & Fitness apps is a nice plus;
- Proficient in leveraging UX research and data analytics to inform and validate design decisions;
- Strong skills in modern mobile product design, with a focus on AI integration and gamification;
- A data-driven mindset with a passion for rapid experimentation and iterative improvement.
