Job Description
Manage, lead, and hire a growing team of product designers. Foster your teamβs growth, happiness, rituals, and productivity. Guide your team's design process and actively review deliverables to ensure our products have a high-quality user experience and consistent design standards. Collaborate with department leadership to define product strategy and align the design of our products with our business goals. Advocate for the user throughout your teamβs product development process. Focus on achieving results and to be hands-on when/if needed, with strong resource management skills. This includes leading important initiatives and covering tasks in the absence of dedicated team members.Requirements
- You have a portfolio showcasing successful product work loved by users and produced in high-velocity teams
- You are an experienced product design leader who knows how to use design strategically to meet business goals and improve products.
- You have extensive experience leading and managing people, and you are passionate about helping others grow and develop in their careers.
- You are an excellent communicator and can articulate design decisions and strategic vision to both designers and non-designers alike.
- You have a track record of working in high-performing, fast-paced startup environments
- You have at least 8 years of work experience in product design, with a strong emphasis on 4+ years of management experience.
