Job Description

• Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and product owners to define product features and user journeys
• Translate user needs and business requirements into intuitive wireframes, flows, and prototypes
• Create and maintain high-fidelity design components in Figma
• Participate in and lead design reviews, providing and incorporating feedback
• Conduct design validation through usability testing and iterate on designs based on insights
• Stay current with trends in product design, AI applications, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled or recently graduated from a Master’s in UX Design, HCI, Human Factors, or a related field
• Master’s program enrollment or completion is mandatory
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and design thinking methodologies
• Proficient in Figma and familiar with design systems and prototyping best practices
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
• Ability to manage multiple design tasks and prioritize work effectively
• A passion for solving complex design challenges and delivering impactful product experiences.

Benefits

• NO cash in-hand (in hourly rate or salary) will be paid to the Intern
• Remuneration is equivalent to $32.00 CAD per hour payable in common shares of the Corporation at the then fair market value.
