Job Description
- Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and product owners to define product features and user journeys
- Translate user needs and business requirements into intuitive wireframes, flows, and prototypes
- Create and maintain high-fidelity design components in Figma
- Participate in and lead design reviews, providing and incorporating feedback
- Conduct design validation through usability testing and iterate on designs based on insights
- Stay current with trends in product design, AI applications, and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled or recently graduated from a Masterβs in UX Design, HCI, Human Factors, or a related field
- Masterβs program enrollment or completion is mandatory
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and design thinking methodologies
- Proficient in Figma and familiar with design systems and prototyping best practices
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage multiple design tasks and prioritize work effectively
- A passion for solving complex design challenges and delivering impactful product experiences.
Benefits
- NO cash in-hand (in hourly rate or salary) will be paid to the Intern
- Remuneration is equivalent to $32.00 CAD per hour payable in common shares of the Corporation at the then fair market value.
