Job Description
- Design end-to-end product experiences for complex denial prevention workflows β pattern review, rule recommendation, rule enablement, and outcome monitoring
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that balance usability with clinical and operational complexity
- Plan and conduct user research independently β including interviews, usability testing, and feedback synthesis β to inform and validate design decisions
- Design data visualizations that communicate denial patterns and actionable insights clearly to non-technical users
- Work embedded with Product and Engineering to iteratively deliver and refine solutions
- Translate ambiguous product requirements into user-centered designs with clear rationale
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Designer in B2B SaaS or healthcare environments
- Strong portfolio demonstrating complex workflow design and data visualization β ideally in operational or analytics-driven products
- Demonstrated experience conducting user research independently β not just participating in it
- Ability to move fluidly from concept to high-fidelity prototype
- Strong collaboration skills with engineers and product managers in agile teams
- Comfortable operating with ambiguity and limited design infrastructure
- Willing to work as a 1099 Contractor
- Experience designing healthcare, RCM, or clinical decision support products (Preferred)
- Familiarity with denial management, claims workflows, or payer operations (Preferred)
- Strong systems thinking β able to design individual screens with the full workflow in mind (Preferred)
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills β can present and defend design decisions clearly (Preferred)
