Job Description
- Designing user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity screens for web and responsive mobile across the investment platform
- Conducting moderated and unmoderated usability testing sessions and synthesising insights into clear, actionable recommendations
- Using HotJar (heatmaps, session recordings) to identify friction points, validate design hypotheses, and surface real user behaviour
- Contributing to and maintaining a shared design system β tokens, components, and documentation β to ensure consistency across the product
- Collaborating closely with product managers and engineers throughout the full delivery cycle, from brief to build
- Presenting design decisions to the product team with clear rationale, defending your choices with data and evidence
- Applying accessible UI principles β contrast, sizing, colour, typography β to ensure the product works for everyone
Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial product design experience in a digital product environment
- 1+ year working in fintech, banking, payments, or another regulated industry
- Strong command of Figma β auto layout, variants, components, responsive constraints, and prototyping
- Experience working within an existing design system (tokens, component libraries, documentation)
- Clear understanding of the Business Analyst role, with practical experience writing user stories
- Hands-on experience with user research β moderated and unmoderated usability testing, synthesis, and actionable reporting
- Real-world use of HotJar or similar analytics tools to uncover insights, not just observe
- Solid grasp of responsive design β breakpoints, grid systems, desktop and mobile
- Advanced English (C1) β written and verbal, including async communication
- Experience with P2P lending or investment products (user perspective counts) is a plus
- Familiarity with Maze or other dedicated research and testing tools is a plus
- Basic awareness of front-end constraints (HTML/CSS awareness, not coding) is a plus
Portfolio must show:
- At least one fintech or complex data-heavy product case study
- End-to-end process: problem β research β design β outcome
- Responsive web work (not only mobile apps)
