What you will do
- Translate ideas into wireframes, prototypes, and refined visual designs that inspire engagement and action — taking full ownership from early concept through launch
- Work closely with product managers, scientists, and engineers to iterate on mobile features and continually push Oura's mobile experience forward
- Collaborate with the design team to maintain design excellence and brand consistency across channels
- Build features that deepen context around sleep, activity, stress, recovery, and metabolic and heart health — ensuring they fit seamlessly into the broader app ecosystem
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of UI/UX design experience in a rapidly scaling or mass-market mobile application
- A track record of taking ownership and driving multiple features and products from 0→1 through cross-functional collaboration
- Comfortable embracing ambiguity to build clarity and structure
- Mastery of Figma and rapid prototyping tools
- Genuine enthusiasm for emerging technology and AI tools, and a proactive approach to learning them
- A portfolio demonstrating your creative thinking, hands-on expertise, and problem-solving skills
- Open, collaborative communication skills and the ability to work across disciplines and time zones
