Job Description
Lead the design process from initial discovery and wireframing through high-fidelity prototyping and developer handoff. Apply a deep understanding of iOS design patterns, gestures, and system behaviors to create intuitive mobile experiences. Maintain a high standard of craft, including typography, iconography, and motion design that feels native on iPhone and iPad. Partner closely with iOS Engineers to understand technical constraints and possibilities, ensuring design intent is preserved through production. Contribute to and evolve our mobile design library to ensure consistency across features.Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years in Product/UX design, with a portfolio showcasing at least 2β3 major iOS apps currently available on the App Store.
- Technical Knowledge: Advanced proficiency in Figma (including variables and advanced prototyping). Working knowledge of Xcode or SwiftUI is a significant plus.
- Systems Thinking: Ability to design for scale, considering edge cases, offline states, and accessibility (VoiceOver, Dynamic Type).
- Communication: Excellent storytelling skills to justify design decisions to stakeholders and translate vision to engineers.
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience designing for iPadOS, watchOS, or visionOS.
- A background in building consumer-facing apps.
