Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Design and build WordPress pages and posts that are visually polished and brand-consistent.
- Create HubSpot landing pages and email templates that balance aesthetics with conversion.
- Evaluate, select, and configure HubSpot and Wordpress modules to match brand standards β knowing what to look for and how to adapt what you find.
- Assess and resolve front-end layout issues: spacing, padding, responsive behavior across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
- Implement motion on the website independently β scrolling animations, micro-interactions, and lightweight web animation β without requiring a developer to execute.
- Own and maintain the Figma component library β update components as the brand evolves, extend the library with new components as needs arise, and keep the system organized so the full creative team works from a single source of truth.
- Actively incorporate AI tools into your design and production workflow β using them to increase output, move faster on production tasks, and expand what's possible across digital design and content.
- Produce and refine presentation decks and sales enablement materials in Google Slides.
- Serve as primary digital coverage when your counterpart is out β capable of holding the full digital queue independently.
- Collaborate with the creative team to maintain design consistency across all digital touchpoints.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Specifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience
- 6-8 years of digital design experience in a B2B SaaS environment with enough front-end literacy to be self-sufficient in the browser.
- Demonstrated experience designing across web, email, and presentation formats with a strong portfolio of digital work.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma β non-negotiable.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining Figma component libraries β not just working within one.
- Hands-on experience designing in WordPress with comfort in HTML and CSS beyond what page builders expose.
- Ability to inspect, troubleshoot, and fix layout issues without waiting for a developer: spacing, alignment, responsive breakpoints.
- Experience with HubSpot for landing page and email design; familiar enough to evaluate and configure modules confidently.
- A strong eye for responsive design β you notice when something breaks on mobile and you know how to fix it.
- Hands-on experience implementing animation on live websites β scrolling animations, micro-interactions, or lightweight motion.
- Actively uses AI tools to increase design output and team capacity.
- Strong working knowledge of Google Slides for presentation design.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage a varied workload without dropping balls.
- Collaborative, low-ego approach.
- Nice to have: Experience with deal room or sales enablement platforms (e.g., Trumpet or similar).
- Nice to have: Basic JavaScript knowledge β enough to tweak existing scripts or drop in functionality.
- Nice to have: Familiarity with CSS frameworks or utility-first approaches (e.g., Tailwind).
- Nice to have: Background in financial services, fintech, or B2B SaaS.
Travel
- Minimal, generally 12 days or less per year, ~2X team get-togethers a year.
