About the Role
As a Senior Product Designer at Samsara, you will provide critical design expertise and execution for strategic initiatives, delivering end-to-end experiences that impact customers and support key business objectives. You'll own design for a specific product area β with current focus on AI and agentic workflows and/or design systems supporting a major rebrand.You'll collaborate closely with Product and Engineering, work directly with customers, and be expected to influence strategy and ship well-crafted designs that make operations more efficient, safe, and sustainable.

What You'll Do
- Own the UX for a product area or surface, shipping high-impact designs that unlock significant customer and business value.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering on strategy, planning, and execution.
- Work directly with customers to understand their needs, validate designs, and inform strategy.
- Provide expertise and knowledge transfer to Samsara's internal design team.
- Deliver all agreed-upon project deliverables on time and to spec.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of product design experience designing UX/UI for web and mobile applications.
- Strong interaction and visual design skills.
- Portfolio and/or case studies showcasing design craft and ability to solve user problems with quantified impact β required to be considered.
- Demonstrated proficiency with AI tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Figma Make).
- Experience prototyping in real codebases; comfort working in GitHub.
- Proven experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

Contract Details
- Duration: 6 months (with conversion potential if based in a country where Samsara has legal entities).
- Hours: 40 hrs/week, no overtime.
- Location: Fully remote.
- Start: ASAP.
