Role Overview

  • The Creative Designer will own the creation, organization, maintenance, and optimization of creative assets across eCommerce, retail, and sales channels.
  • The Creative Designer will be responsible for managing asset systems, developing conversion-focused PDP content, executing packaging updates, creating product messaging, and producing retail sales materials that support business growth.
  • This role is ideal for a highly organized creative professional who enjoys balancing design execution, copy development, asset management, and process improvement while maintaining a strong focus on quality, consistency, and performance.

  • Fully Remote | 9 AM – 5 PM EST

Key Responsibilities

Asset Organization & System Ownership

  • Build and maintain centralized asset management systems using Air, Dropbox, and Plytix.
  • Implement and maintain consistent naming conventions, folder structures, and version control processes.
  • Ensure creative assets remain accurate, organized, and easily accessible across the organization.
  • Upload, categorize, and maintain approved creative assets in a timely manner.
  • Eliminate inefficiencies caused by outdated, missing, or improperly organized files.

PDP & Conversion-Focused Creative

  • Create and update Product Detail Page (PDP) imagery across platforms including Sam’s Club, Costco, Shopify, and retail partner channels.
  • Translate product benefits into compelling visual content and conversion-focused messaging.
  • Optimize PDP content for clarity, hierarchy, user experience, and conversion performance.
  • Ensure assets comply with retailer-specific requirements and guidelines.

Product Copy & Messaging Execution

  • Write and refine product descriptions, PDP copy, and packaging copy.
  • Develop headlines, feature descriptions, and supporting marketing content.
  • Maintain consistency in messaging, tone, and positioning across channels.
  • Adapt messaging to meet platform-specific and retailer-specific requirements.

Packaging Execution

  • Execute packaging design updates and new packaging concepts.
  • Maintain consistency across SKUs, product lines, and packaging formats.
  • Support ongoing improvements to packaging clarity, functionality, and perceived product quality.
  • Ensure packaging aligns with brand standards and product positioning.

Retail Decks & Sales Materials

  • Design retail decks, sales presentations, and supporting sales collateral.
  • Create polished and professional materials for retail partners and internal sales teams.
  • Develop data-driven sales assets that effectively communicate product performance and value.
  • Support product launches and retail growth initiatives through effective visual storytelling.

Qualifications Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in eCommerce, retail design, or related creative design roles.
  • Experience creating and optimizing PDP imagery and conversion-focused creative assets.
  • Experience executing packaging design projects and packaging updates.
  • Experience managing large creative asset libraries and digital asset systems.
  • Experience creating sales materials, retail decks, and product marketing assets.
  • Experience working across multiple retail, marketplace, and eCommerce channels.
  • Experience supporting fast-paced, high-output creative environments.

Qualifications Skills

  • Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Experience using creative and design tools such as Canva and Figma.
  • Strong asset management and organizational skills using Air, Dropbox, and Plytix.
  • Strong copywriting skills for product descriptions, headlines, PDP content, and packaging messaging.
  • Strong understanding of conversion-focused design principles.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to execute quickly while maintaining quality and consistency.
  • Highly organized with a strong ownership mentality.
  • Adaptable and comfortable operating in fast-paced environments.
