The Team:

We’re looking for highly motivated product designers with a passion for crafting beautiful experiences to help shape the future of onchain design at Kraken. With an emphasis on design solutions oriented in self-custody and decentralized applications, this role will combine a keen eye for detail that spans across an ecosystem of interconnected applications and protocols with a comfort designing user flows that reach across product and crypto platforms to offer a seamless experience for our beloved customers.

The Opportunity:

Create high quality onchain user experiences while closely collaborating with other designers, researchers, product managers, content writers, and engineers
Communicate the impact of design for decentralized applications while balancing business objectives, customers needs, insights, and technical constraints to product data-informed outcomes
Bring awareness of the latest wallets, marketplaces, defi applications, and other leading applications to inform and define and onchain product suite
Actively participate in design reviews both seeking and giving meaningful feedback to inform and shape our product direction
Work closely with product, research, and engineering teams to define concepts through exploration, to prototyping, testing, and production, tracking outcomes via analytics and customer feedback

Skills you should HODL:

Experience designing with complex data for financial products
Demonstrated ability to lead design efforts across mobile and desktop platforms
Deep understanding of decentralized applications and use cases for self-custody wallets
Working closely with engineers and product managers to bring your ideas to life
Desire to work in a rapidly evolving domain of design and new product initiatives
Comfortable with ambiguity and asking the right questions to form multiple design solutions to a problem or customer need
Natural storytelling ability and proficiency explaining rationale behind design decisions
Strong interest in crypto utility and use cases within decentralized applications
